The Youth Advisory Council’s mission is to engage in purposeful dialogue to address and educate other youth in the prevention of teen violence that affects our lives.

    • Optional meeting dates in preparation for various activities and events throughout the year
    • Weekly updates will be sent out to all members with upcoming meeting dates and opportunities for participation in various YAC related activities

    What is this?

    • Newest addition to our prevention work
    • YAC Chapters are an FVPS initiative to establish a collaborative experience between youth in the community and their schools

    How can I get involved?

    • YAC Chapters (YACC) can be started by an existing member or a new member applying
    • YAC Staff will have a separate meeting with interested member to go over specifics for their school

FVPS has been actively combating domestic violence in San Antonio for 46 years, and in 2021 formed the The Youth Advisory Council (YAC). We are excited to work with high school students, the next generation in our community.
