Legal representation through FVPS assists financially eligible victims of abuse with a full range of civil legal services in the area of family law, including protective orders, divorce,child custody, address confidentiality, and Crime Victims Compensation. Applications for legal services with FVPS must be completely filled out. It is also important to include any relevant documents with your application, such as, police reports, photos of injuries, court orders and documents, any documents from Child Protective Services.

Once your application has been received and reviewed by the Department, you will be notified whether your application has been accepted.

Requests for your records must be done in-person at our Broadway location. Please bring a valid ID with you. FVPS has 15 business days to provide your request of records, all requests will be sent via certified mail.
